Harvey J. Zoellick, age 84, of Watertown, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at his home.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. Todd Iverson officiating. Burial service to follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Watertown. Family and friends may gather at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials, if desired, may be directed to the church or Marquardt Hospice. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Harvey John Zoellick was born on May 26, 1933, in Watertown, the son of William and Viola (nee Eggert) Zoellick. Harvey served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War, and on September 8, 1956, at age 23, was united in marriage to Alayne A. May at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Watertown. They were married for sixty-one years and had three children. Harvey worked as a farmer for fifty-six of those years. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Richwood VFW, and Plattdeutscher Verein. Harvey enjoyed four-wheeling and snowmobiling around the family farm with his grandchildren, as well as spending time at his cottage. Socializing with friends and family was another of his favorite pastimes.
Harvey is survived by his wife, Alayne Zoellick; children, David (Dawn Rafel) Zoellick, Kurt Zoellick and Terry (Julie) Zoellick, all of Watertown; grandchildren, Sara (Matthew) Boelter, Jack Zoellick and Lauren Zoellick; brothers, Charles (Delores) Zoellick, William (Jane) Zoellick, Richard (Darlene) Zoellick and Larry (Jodine) Zoellick; sister-in-law, Patricia Zoellick as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother Howard Zoellick, brothers; Victor Zoellick and Herbert Zoellick and sisters, Pearl Heller and Barbara Pahl.
