Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 6 p.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran church in Lebanon, with the Rev. John Kelling officiating. Burial will be at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery in Lebanon on Saturday morning at 10 a.m..
The visitation will be at the church on Friday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorials, in David’s name, may be given to the church or to the charity of one’s choice.

David Reinhard Lauersdorf was born in Lebanon on May 23, 1938, son of Reinhard C. and Magdalena E. (Uttech) Lauersdorf. David farmed all of his life, retiring in 2010. He had also worked in various factories.
He was a lifelong member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and a member of the Plattdeutscher Verein in Watertown. David was an avid Packer fan and collected Packer memorabilia, along with his toy tractor collection. He also enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing pool and playing cards, especially Sheepshead.
Survivors include his companion, Nancy Turnipseed of Neosho; brothers, Melvin Lauersdorf of Neosho; Roger (Tina) Lauersdorf of Abbotsford; a sister, Gladys Lueth Curtiss; a sister-in-law, Arletta Lauersdorf of Neosho, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
David was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Elmer Lauersdorf; a sister, Debra Lauersdorf; a sister-in-law, Sandy Lauersdorf and a brother-in-law, Elmer Lueth Curtiss.
