Christine “Chrissy” L. Ready, age 52, of Watertown, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at her home with her family by her side.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. Karl Walther officiating. Burial will take place at the Lutheran Cemetery in Watertown. Family and friends may gather at the Hafemeister Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Christine Lee Ziebell was born on November 19, 1964 in Watertown, the daughter of Merlin and LaVerne (nee Friede) Ziebell. She had been employed as a caregiver at Countryside in Jefferson for several years as well as at Marquardt Memorial Manor for twelve years. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church of Watertown. Chrissy was a volunteer at Head Start in Watertown. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Chrissy played for Market Street, Blue Bunny and M&M Bar for the Women’s Watertown Pool League, champions in 1988 and 1989. She was an excellent cook and loved to cook for family and friends.
Chrissy is survived by her children, Aaron (Stacy) Ready; Brandon (Spring Reed) Ready; grandchildren, Abby, Todd, Ashlynn, Edgar and Jasper Ready, all of Watertown; siblings, Connie (Dwight) Brunk; Kathy Brunk, all of Watertown; James (Terri) Ziebell of Lake Mills; Tim Ziebell of Watertown and Sheri (Thomas) Pfeifer of Reeseville; sister-in-law, Sharon (D.J.) Thomsen of Watertown; brother-in-law, Larry (Debbie) Ready of Watertown as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; best friend, Penny Weide and loving dog, Tanner.
