Irving E. Quest
Irving E. Quest, age 84 of Watertown, passed away on Saturday afternoon, January 3, 2015 surrounded by his loving family, at the Marquardt Health Center in Watertown.

Irving Ellis Quest was born on August 12, 1930 in Johnson Creek, the son of Mark and Helen (Schneeberger) Quest. On August 20, 1950 he married Joyce Last in Lake Mills. Irving farmed most of his life in the Town of Hustisford and was employed by the Milwaukee Railroad. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Clyman. He enjoyed hunting, traveling and gardening. He was an avid reader and history buff. Irv loved grilling sweet corn for family gatherings, and telling stories of life years ago. Irv was a lifelong member of the National Rifle Association.
Irving is survived by his wife Joyce of Watertown, twelve children; Dan (Pauline) Quest of Nevada, MO, Dennis (Sandi) Quest of Watertown, Sharon (Willie) Benzing of Wasilla, AK, Lori (K.B.) Bocher of Watertown, Teresa (Jim) Manning of Blue Grass, IA, Mary (Tim) Dornfeld of Clyman, Jane (Clark) Tracy of Watertown, Steve (Melanie) Quest of Watertown, Kathy (Greg) Manning of Nekoosa, Joanne (Mark) Verhage of Beaver Dam, Diane (Sean) Kennedy of Friesland and Tom (Allison) Quest of Reeseville, fifty-five grandchildren, fifty-nine great-grandchildren, a brother Donald Quest of Beaver Dam, two sisters; Mary Korth of Watertown and Laurie Williams of Fort Atkinson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Irving was preceded in death by his parents, two grandsons; Mark Quest and Clark Tracy Jr., a granddaughter; Danielle Quest, one great-granddaughter; Peyton Quest, three brothers; Gerald Quest, Robert (Betty) Quest, Charles (Ruth) Quest, and a sister-in-law; Helen Quest.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Clyman on Friday January 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Father Rick Wendell presiding. Burial will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Clyman. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Clyman, St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown, or to the charity of one’s choice.
