She is survived by: her mother, Sylvia Tester; loving children, Andrew Kohlhoff of Stoughton and Kara Beth (Ryan Buckles) Ellis of Stoddard; her pride-and-joy grandchildren, Helena Elizabeth Marie and Theodore Edward Kohlhoff and Anesah Brooke Ellis; sister, Vicki Brom; brother, Marty (Rosie) Tester; sister-in-law Susan Kohlhoff; Ryan's son, Jack; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and godchildren.
Also, those she considered family: Memorial Day and Christmas Day groups, the Abrams, the Brumms, the Buckles and the Stoddard Group.
She was born on May 28, 1949 to James & Sylvia (Schultz) Tester. She attended Webster Grade School and
St. Mark's Grade School and graduated from Watertown High School in 1967. She lived in Minneapolis, Madison and moved back to her hometown in 1972. On January 15, 1972, she married Edward (Oggie) Kohlhoff at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Watertown. After marriage, she became a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Watertown. She worked at Eaton Corporation for thirty-five years before retiring in 2009.
She enjoyed traveling, especially her trips to Texas, Maine, Florida, New Orleans, and Memphis. She also enjoyed volunteering at church and following the Brewers, Badgers, Packers, and Bucks. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, other family members and friends. Our vibrant, fun-loving Judith will be missed. However, we have peace knowing she is no longer suffering and is now in heaven with her Lord and Savior.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward of forty-four years, father James Tester, father-in-law John Kohlhoff, grandparents, brother-in-law Michael Brom, and nephew Nikolas Brom, other relatives and friends.
Words cannot express our gratitude to her loving sister and best friend Vicki and her family, Kelly, Amy & Wyatt, Alison Abrams, Angie Buckles, Cynthia Rampetsreiter, family, friends, Briarwood Cottage neighbors, especially Bill, Pastors Brauer and Yanke, church members, Dr. Eastman and all the oncology nurses, especially Dana Micale, and all friends and physicians at UW and Watertown Hospital. We thank everyone for their prayers and support these past nine years.
Please remember the words she would say: This too shall pass and it is what it is. And picture her dancing in heaven with her "Eddie Love".
