Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday January 11, 2014 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. Rodney Warnecke officiating. Burial will be at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
Jack Thomas Zielsdorf was born on March 12, 1947 in Watertown the son of Thomas and Norma (Ebert) Zielsdorf. He was a 1965 graduate of the Watertown Senior High School in Watertown. On June 21, 1975 he married the former Arlene Borchardt at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Watertown. He had been employed at Applied Molded Products in Watertown for thirty-eight years. Jack was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Jack enjoyed reading and had been an avid bowler and sports fan. Jack loved taking long walks with his wife.
Jack will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Arlene of Watertown, three children, Connie (Brian) Johnson of Watertown, Keith McEvoy of Fort Atkinson and Karla McEvoy of University Place, WA, eight grandchildren, Crystal Crow, Zachary Schmidt, Travis Schmidt, Elisha Schmidt, Isaiah Johnson, Benjamin Johnson, Tyler Boepple-McEvoy and Tanner Boepple-McEvoy, one great-grandson Wylie Crow, other relatives and friends. Jack was the last member of his immediate family being preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jerry Zielsdorf.
