Bruce Patrick Clark was born on July 26, 1959 in Endicott, New York, the son of Rev. Bruce and Saundra (nee McVannon) Clark. He attended high school in Cleveland, Ohio. On August 13, 1994, he was united in marriage to Sharon Reese, the woman he said he would marry the night that he met her. Never one to back down from a challenge, he accepted his three new pre-teen daughters as his own. What began as one #7 truck and a large dream, he owned and operated Clark Trucking in Watertown since 1999. In his younger years, Bruce enjoyed racing at the Jefferson Speedway. His personal claim to fame was that he raced against Matt Kenseth. He loved Harley-Davidson motorcycles, semis, boats and anything else with an engine attached to it. Bruce was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, bringing his Bible and conversation most Sundays. Bruce had a generous heart, helping anyone that needed it and did not ask for anything in return. Bruce laughed easily and loved mightily. Bruce loved spending time with all of his family and spoke or visited with his parents daily. Bruce loved being a dad; carving out a unique relationship with all three of his daughters. Bruce loved being a papa/grandpa; a role he surely valued like no other. Bruce loved being a husband. This loss is no greater than for his beloved wife and dog Bandit.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Sharon Clark of Watertown; children, Rea (Eric) Dail of Pikeville, NC, Amber (Christian) Rickman of Middleton and Kristin Zastrow of Watertown; grandchildren, Kayden Owens, Lilah Owens, Grayson Rickman and Winslow Rickman; parents, Bruce and Saundra Clark; siblings, Clarice Clark-Foss, Jerry (Sue) Clark, Sarah (Tamara) Clark-White, and Rebekah (Don) Clapp; sisters-in-law, Sue (Bob) Kubly, Sally Wilson and Bonnie Block; brothers-in-law, Dan Reese (fiancé Peggy Brisky) and Tom (Annette) Reese as well as many nieces and nephews, other relatives and countless friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ken and Melba Clark, and Bert and Reva McVannon, his father-in-law, Howard Reese, mother-in-law, Doris Reese, and nephew, Derek Wilson.
Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1
