Yolanda Valerio, 64, of Watertown, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Rainbow Hospice in Johnson Creek.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown with Father Jorge Miramontes officiating. Burial will take place at St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery in Watertown. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Yolanda Soto was born on April 2, 1955 in Big Wells, Texas, the daughter of Fidencio R. and Maria M. (nee Marinez) Soto. On September 15, 1997, she married Lorenzo Valerio in Jefferson. She had been employed at Eaton Corporation, Briggs & Stratton and Generac Power Systems. She loved spending time with her family. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. She loved dancing and spending time outside.
Yolanda is survived by her husband, Lorenzo Valerio; children, Otilia Madrid, Juan Madrid, Porfirio Madrid, Corina (Dustin) Kasten and Alex (Alysse) Soto; grandchildren, Oscar Nevarez, Selina Nevarez, Anissa Nevarez, Alissa Nevarez, Alex Nevarez, Ciara Nelson, Kali Madrid, Jaden Madrid, Isaac Madrid, Caleb Madrid, Briella Madrid, Brooklynn Soto, Izabella Soto and Natalia Soto; great-grandchildren, Eliana Villarreal, Aviana Villarreal, Rosalie Nevarez, Robert Kelly and Aleiyah Nelson; siblings, Anna Maria (Antonio) Hernandez, Estella (Jose) Acosta, Lenny (Ida) Soto, Beatrice Gonzalez, Eugene (Judy) Soto, JoAnn (Donald) Zubke, Fredrick Soto and Christine (Pedro) Dominguez as well as nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; uncles, Pedro Marinez, Juan Marinez, Redolfo “Rudy” Marinez and Santos Marinez; aunts, Jesusita Dominguez and Rosa White; as well as brother-in-law, Craig D. Umland.
