Robert L. Becker, age 75, of Helenville, passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 30, 2013.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. Mark’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Jefferson, 324 South Sanborn Ave. in Jefferson, with the Rev. Dr. Kenneth A. Comstock officiating. Burial will be in the Farmington Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call to pay their respects at the Hafemeister Funeral Home, 611 E. Main St., Watertown, on Monday, February 4, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the St. Mark’s Lutheran Church’s Elevator Fund.

Robert Lynn Becker was born in Milwaukee on May 13, 1937, son of Harold and Lorraine (Ernst) Becker. On September 15, 1956, he married Cathleen A. Hadler at Siloah Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.
Bob was a 1955 graduate of Rufus King High School in Milwaukee.
He was General Manager and Vice President of Metal Processing Inc. in Milwaukee for 22 years. Bob and his wife also raised veal calves for 17 years.
Bob was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Jefferson and a member of its church council. He served on the Farmington Town Board for 23 years, was past president and a member of the church council at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Johnson Creek, a board member of the Sullivan EMS and a member of the board of directors of the National Psoriasis Foundation. Bob volunteered at Rainbow Hospice in Jefferson and was a volunteer driver for Jefferson County Human Services.
Survivors include his wife, Cathleen A. Becker of Helenville; two children, Jeffrey (Yvonne) Becker of Helenville; Steven (Penny) Becker of Chicago, IL; four grandchildren, Sara, Samantha, Adam and Joshua and other relatives and friends.
Bob was the last member of his immediate family being preceded in death by his parents and three brothers in infancy.
