The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15th, at 1 p.m. at Jansen’s Banquet Hall, 1245 Whitewater Ave., Fort Atkinson 53538, with Rob Eberhardt, Bruce Shaw and Bonita Kleeb officiating. Military Honors will follow the service.
The visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown, and at Jansen’s Banquet Hall on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

Gerald De Wayne Hoffman was born in Watertown on November 8, 1939, and was raised by Joe and Elta Hoffman. He served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps. On April 23, 1966, he married Arlene Hoffman in Lake Mills.
Gary had been employed by Motor Transport, Advance Transportation and ABF. After retiring from the trucking business, he worked at Kwik Trip.
Gary was a man of great faith and enjoyed reading his Bible, singing hymns and visiting with his children and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Arlene of Watertown; his ten children, Kelvin (Jenny) Hoffman of Watertown; Terry (Kim) Hoffman of New Waverly, TX; Craig (Holly) Hoffman of Watertown; Jason (Krista) Hoffman of Watertown; Julie Hoffman of Hopkins, MN; Jodi Hoffman of Watertown; Jeremy (Angie) Hoffman of Watkinsville, GA; Jackie (Justin) Tomczak of Jefferson; Jesse Hoffman of Watertown and Janelle (Noor) Khan of Boynton Beach, FL; eight grandchildren, Brittany & Abigail Hoffman, Christina & Kiana Oyelowo, Abby Plante, Kamea Hoffman; and Kiara & Nathan Opps; three sisters, Sherry (Steve) Sullivan of Colorado Springs, CO; Marvel Blank of Watertown; Marlene Bates of Kingsville, TX; his birth mother, Alice Olson and other relatives and many friends.
Preceding Gary in death were his parents, Joe in 1977 and Elta in 1996.
