Kevin L. DeBlare 55, of Watertown went to be with his Lord on February 10, 2017.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 2 p.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. Peter Wells officiating. Innichement will be held following the service at Lutheran Cemetery in Watertown. Relatives and friends may gather at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorials may be directed to the family for Hunter’s college fund. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Kevin Lee DeBlare was born on July 24, 1961 in Watertown the son of Maynard and Shirley (nee Sellnow) DeBlare. On October 28, 1983 he married Teresa Schwartz at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Watertown. Kevin was a “Beatification Specialist” for Theder Landscaping in Watertown. More recently, he had his dream job at Erin Hills Golf course in Erin. Kevin had a passion for Harley Davidson Motorcycles and traveled to Sturgis a couple of times. He enjoyed going to the cabin in Augusta with his cousins for their annual fishing trip. Kevin also liked deer hunting. He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Watertown.
Kevin in survived by his wife Teresa DeBlare; his son Hunter DeBlare both of Watertown; brothers and sisters: Randall (Suzanne) DeBlare of Green Bay, Mark (Ginny) DeBlare of Watertown, Dennis (Ashley) DeBlare of Colorado Springs, CO, Jason (Paula) DeBlare of Watertown, Kristine DeBlare of Waterloo; father and mother-in-law Merlin and Betty Schwartz of San Tan Valley, AZ; brothers and sisters-in-law: Keith (Jane) Schwartz of Ixonia, Kaye (Mike) Kumbier of Watertown, Gayle (Rev. Ralph) Rosenberg of Greenville, Leon (Louanne Schwabe) Schwartz of Milwaukee, Sharee (Mike) Bergmann of Watertown, Darrell (Amy Ryan) of Watertown, his dogs Diamond and Chewie, nieces; nephews, other relatives and friends.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents; a niece Michelle Schwartz and his uncle Willy Rouleau.
