Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 22nd at 7 p.m. at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown, with the Rev. Anthony Schultz of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Watertown on Thursday morning.
Relatives and friends may call to pay their respects at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorials, in Florence’s name, may be given to the Watertown Humane Society.
Florence Irene was born in Watertown on September 12, 1921, daughter of Fred and Louise (Kressin) Koshelnick. She attended Watertown Schools and had been employed at Brandt Automatic Cashier in Watertown for 26 ½ years, and was also Watertown’s first Woman cab driver.
Babe was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Watertown. She was a very active participant in speedskating, softball and bowling and won many trophies and medals in all of them. She loved the Green Bay Packers and her beloved dog, Brett.
Survivors include her nieces, nephews, a dear friend, Jean Stackle and other relatives and friends.
Babe was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Norma Feder, Esther Brumm, Lucille Gallenbeck, Louise Boltz; two brothers, Charles and Clarence; four brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law and four nieces
