Harvey was born in Watertown on March 20, 1918, son of Herman and Lorretta (Scobby) Neubauer.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1945 during WWII in the Pacific Theater of Operations.
Harvey married the former Gertrude A. Rabbach on May 29, 1948. She preceded him in death on January 25, 1985.
Harvey had been employed at Brandt’s in Watertown for 38 years.
Survivors include his children, Marie (Robert) Burkhalter of St. George, Utah; Carol (Gerald) Schultz of Watertown; and William (Sandy) Wiedenhoeft of Delavan; grandchildren; sister, Lorraine Hady of Arlington Heights, IL; brother, Lester of Portage, other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Gladys and a brother, Victor..
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 22nd at 7 p.m. at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown, with the Rev. John Fritts, Chaplain at Marquardt Health Center in Watertown, officiating. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Moravian Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call to pay their respects at the funeral home on Sunday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran School in Watertown.
