A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at Hafemeister Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Bezanson officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by Watertown American Legion Post #189 following the service. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Gerald Lee Justin was born on October 11, 1936 in Tomahawk. He was raised by his Grandma Ella and Grandpa Joseph Justin in Mosinee. Jerry served in the United States Army, where he was wounded in Korea. On May 28, 1962 he married Darlene Hebbe in Milwaukee. He had been employed as a semi-truck driver for Roy Heacox and Son Inc. in Evansville, WI. Jerry enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was the ultimate Green Bay Packer fan. Jerry, along with his wife, bred and competed in dog shows with their black Great Danes. He loved his dog Arrow. Jerry enjoyed watching and feeding the birds on the deck of his home.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Darlene Justin of Helenville; children, Michele (Mitchell) Behm and Gerald (Melanie) Justin Jr., all of Watertown; eight grandchildren, Amber (Derrick) Borchardt; Mark (Ashley) Moretti; Mitchell (Rochelle) Behm Jr.; Benjamin Behm; Melissa Behm; Gerald Justin III, Zachary Justin and Mitchaell Atkins, nine great-grandchildren, Justin Lee Buchanan; Derrick Borchardt II; Alexis Borchardt; Adian Justin; Cordelia Behm; Adeline Behm; Theodore Behm; Dominic Moretti and Mya Moretti. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
