Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 11AM at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lebanon, with Rev. John Kelling officiating. Burial will be at the parish cemetery. Memorials would be appreciated to St. Peter’s kitchen remodeling fund or to the charity of ones choice.

Elmer Henry Edwin Lauersdorf was born on February 24, 1928 to Reinhard and Magdelena (Uttech) Lauersdorf in the Town of Lebanon. On May 31, 1952 he married Arletta Genz at St. Stephen’s Lutheran church in the Town of Concord.
Elmer was a dairy farmer in the Neosho area. He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church all of his life. Elmer enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing sheepshead, and cards. He was an honorary member of the Lebanon Fire Department.
Elmer is survived by his wife Arletta of Neosho; three children: Allan Lauersdorf of Neosho, Christine Weisensel of Watertown, Sherry (Donald) Thomas of Hartford; three grandchildren: Dana (Corby) Bergmann, Deanna Ring, Bryan Thomas; two step-grandchildren: Randy (Diane) Thomas, Sheryl (Darren) Enders; two great-grandchildren: Jacob Bergmann, Bryanna Bergmann; three step-great-grandchildren: Lauren, Stephen, and Nathan Enders; four siblings: Melvin Lauersdorf of Neosho, Gladys Lueth of Curtis, David (Nancy) Lauersdorf of Neosho, Roger (Tina) Lauersdorf of Abbotsford, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
