Funeral services for Lucille will be held on Saturday, March 7th at 3 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc, with the Rev. Steven Pagels officiating. Entombment will be at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia.
Relatives and friends may call to pay their respects at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown on Friday, March 6th from 4 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorials are suggested to St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church or to the charity of one’s choice.

Lucille E. Wittchow was born in Watertown on June 24, 1925, daughter of Herbert and Esther (Fredrick) Wittchow. .
On December 2, 1944, she married Leland W. Rupnow at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Watertown. Leland preceded her in death on February 17, 2013.
For 23 years, Lucille was a cook for the hot lunch program at St. Matthew’s Lutheran School in Oconomowoc. She also cooked for the Ixonia Fireman’s Hall Auxiliary and did catering for numerous weddings and parties for many years throughout the area.
She was a member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc and its Ladies Guild.
Survivors include her children, Clifford (Debbie) Rupnow of Ixonia; Lenford Rupnow of Sullivan; Warren Rupnow of Madison; Gloria (Luther) Jacobson of Ixonia; Clyde (LuAnn) Rupnow of Watertown; her grandchildren, Lisa Belisle, Marc Rupnow, Lukas (Sarah) Jacobson, Nicole (Michael) Brueck, Kevin Jacobson, Casandra (Jacob) Smith, Heidi Rupnow, Heather Rupnow, Alyssa (Daniel) Jaeger, Andrew Rupnow; seven great-grandchildren, Mikenzie & Jordyn Smith, Cheyenne Toshner, Nolan & Keira Jacobson, Charlotte Brueck and Croix Jaeger; a sister, Jeanette Schroeder of Winona, MN; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Lucille was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Caroline; a son, Russell; a great granddaughter, Carly Tosher, and a brother, James in infancy.
