Aaron C. Peot
Aaron C. Peot, 28, Town of Ottawa, passed away at his home after accidentally hitting his head on March 17, 2018.
He was born on December 29, 1989 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to Roger and Mary Karolyn Peot. He attended elementary school at Schurz and St. John’s Lutheran Grade School in Watertown. He attended High School at Kettle Moraine High but graduated from Watertown High School in 2008. After high school, he went on to work for Insulation Industries Inc. where after a four year apprenticeship he earned the title of Journeyman Heat and Frost Insulator – Local 19.
Aaron was always his own person from day one. He never wavered from what he thought and was fearless in his beliefs. He was not afraid of anyone or anything. He was always a step ahead of everyone and had such a brilliant mind. He packed more living into his 28 years than most do in a lifetime! He danced to the beat of a different drum and suffered many heartaches because he was different! Aaron placed his mark on this world by showing us what it means to live out what we believe and most of all be true to ourselves!
He was constantly educating himself and learning something new. He loved nature, plants and had a huge love of rocks, especially fossilized and healing ones. He was very proud of his work and was so particular in what he did. He was passionate and well versed in information and education and so happy to tell you what he had learned.
Survivors include: his father, Roger (Angela Ritonia) Peot of Oconomowoc; mother, Mary Karolyn (Tom) Keuler of Berlin; brother, Josef (Kathy) Peot and their three children, Alexia, Nathan and Cassadee, all of Aiken, South Carolina; sister, Allison (Chris Dettwiler) Peot of Madison; step-brothers, Allen (Andraea) Brynman of Delafield and Aaron (Amanda) Brynman of Palmyra; grandparents, Robert and Sharon Peot of Sullivan; best friend, Kirk Jaco; the family of Tom Keuler as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
Aaron was preceded in death by great-grandparents, maternal grandparents and his cousin, Clinton Liebl.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at White Stone Community Church in Dousman with Pastor Luke Dye officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated to start a memorial fund in Aaron’s honor. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Online condolences may be made at www.hafemeisterfh.com.
Aaron was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
