Donald O. “Schultzy” Schellin, age 83 of Ixonia, passed away on Sunday morning, April 1, 2012 at Angelsgrace Hospice in Oconomowoc.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday April 5, 2012 at 1 P.M. at Dr. Martin Luther Church in Oconomowoc with the Rev. Larry Harpster officiating. Burial will be at the La Belle Cemetery in Oconomowoc. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 11 A.M. until the time of the service.

Donald Orvin “Schultzy” Schellin was born on August 22, 1928 in the Town of Ixonia the son of William and Adela (Gauerke) Schellin. He was a 1946 graduate of the Oconomowoc High School. On April 15, 1951 he married the former Lila Radloff at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Watertown.
Schultzy had been a farmer in the Town of Ixonia and had been employed by the Ixonia Highway Department, the Ixonia Lumber Company, and he, along with Don Schmidt, were partners in the D&D Construction Co. located in Ixonia. He had also been employed at the Ixonia Transfer Site.
Don was a member of Dr. Martin Luther Church in Oconomowoc. He was a member of the Ixonia Volunteer Fire Department. Schultzy loved his town and playing cards.
Survivors include his two children, Donna (Edward) Winkelman of Watertown and Keith (Brenda) Schellin of Ixonia; his grandchildren, Karl (Amy) Winkelman, Philip Winkelman, Tammy Winkelman, Donald Winkelman and William Winkelman; a step-granddaughter, Katie (Vince) Wolfgram, great-grandchildren, Brandi Winkelman, Mike Winkelman, Tyler Winkelman, Elizabeth Winkelman, Trevor Winkelman; two step-great-grandsons, Logan Wolfgram and Noah Wolfgram; a brother, Dennis (Charlene) Schellin of Ixonia and two sisters, Joyce (Stanley) Christopherson of Hartford and Judy (Albert) Krueger of Watertown, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lila on December 26, 2010; a grandson, Edward Winkelman; a brother, William Schellin II and three sisters, Eleanor Wendorf, Emily Damrow and Joan Buske.
