Henry G. Rabbach Jr., 97, of Watertown, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at his home.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. Karl Walther officiating. Family and friends may gather at Hafemeister Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Memorials, if desired, would be appreciated to the church, Lakeside Lutheran High School or the charity of one’s choice. Henry G. Rabbach Jr. was born on May 23, 1920, the son of Henry G. and Emma (nee Schuenke) Rabbach. On November 2, 1947 he was united in marriage to Deloris “De” Johnson in Milwaukee. De preceded him in death on November 11, 2001. He owned and operated Rabbach’s Boat and Workshop in Johnson Creek. Henry was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Watertown. He enjoyed paddle boating and could fix anything. He was a founding member of the Watertown Outboarder Club and the Koshkonong Rock River Club. He was a member of the Grellton Flywheelers and was a life member of the Dodge County Antique Power Club.
Henry is survived by sister-in-law, Betty Rabbach, of Watertown as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was further preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Carl Rabbach, Paul Rabbach, Fred Rabbach, Walter Rabbach and Raymond Rabbach; five sisters, Edna Ohrmundt, Gertrude Neubauer, Florence Baum, Esther Brown and Adeline Heiser as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a sincere thank you to the staff at Pinecone for serving Henry a delicious breakfast every morning as well as the “Friday night fish fry crew” for taking him out on Fridays.
