A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 11th at 2 p.m. at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown with the Rev. Ron Kral of Christ United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Park Cemetery in Milwaukee.
Relatives and friends may call to pay their respects at the funeral home on Friday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.

Lawrence John was born in Milwaukee on November 24, 1931, son of Gilbert and Margaret (Peters) Keene. On December 2, 1950, he married Jean Audrey Padden. Jean preceded him in death in April of 1986. Lawrence was then married to Kathryn Elizabeth Horne and she preceded him in December of 2010.
He graduated from Milwaukee High School. Lawrence owned and operated Camera Graphics Inc. in West Allis for over 30 years.
He was a member of the NRA, Ducks Unlimited and the National Wildlife Federation. Lawrence had been a Golden Glove Boxer champion and enjoyed hunting, fishing, biking, painting and gardening.
Survivors include his six children, Deborah (Jack) Sowinski of Pewaukee; Michael (Joan) Keene of Richmond, VA; Nancy (Gary) Sowinski of Watertown; Brian Keene of South Milwaukee; Raymond Keene of Glendale; Mark (Terry) Keene of Saukville; sixteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Gary (Gloria) Keene of Whitewater and David Keene of California, as well as other relatives and friends.
Lawrence was also preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Tommy, Bob, Dennis Paul and Richard and a daughter-in-law, Chris Keene.
