She was born on July 7, 1930, in Clyman, to Paul and Mabel (Kaul) Ninmann. She married Arthur Kiefer on February 12, 1949. He preceded her in death on May 15, 1993. She married Ernest Kubly on July 22, 2000 at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc. He preceded her in death on March 13, 2015.
Jeanette worked as a payroll clerk at Musebeck Shoe Co. in Oconomowoc for 40 years. She also served as a Sunday School teacher & superintendent at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Neosho for 24 years. She belonged to the Red Hatter’s both in Oconomowoc and Lakeland, FL. She and Art spent many weekends at their cottage in Mercer. She was able to tell you many of their fishing experiences and the big muskie she caught. They had many friends there. She and Ernie were snowbirds, spending six months in Wisconsin and six months in Florida. She enjoyed the good times and many friends she made over the years. She came from a family of sixteen and was always eager to tell you stories of growing up with them and the good times they shared.
She enjoyed life to the fullest, whether it be traveling, listening to WTKM polka music, attending dances, playing dominoes and entertaining. She was always there to help wherever and whomever needed it.
Surviving are her siblings: Lucille Moke, Theodore Ninmann, twin Ethel Leitzke, Arthur Ninmann, Hazel Kuepfer, and Arlene Schuett. Also surviving is a special niece, Shirley Gimmel and her husband Dennis, as well as nieces, nephews, and step-children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mabel Ninmann; siblings: Myrtle Jaeckel, Evelyn Nehls, Paul Ninmann, Jr., Betty Wolf, Richard Ninmann, Willard Ninmann, Hilbert Ninmann, Larry Ninmann, and Ronald Ninmann.
Funeral services for Jeanette will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 6 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc with Rev. Steven Pagels officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Neosho. Memorials to St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc would be appreciated.
