Kenneth A. Zuk, age 76, of Watertown, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017 after an heroic battle with cancer.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown with Father Alex Carmel officiating. Burial will take place at the parish cemetery. Family and friends may gather at the church from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Marquardt Hospice of Watertown , Heritage Homes Alzheimer's Unit of Watertown or St. Jude's Children's Hospital would be appreciated. Kenneth Alexis Zuk was born on December 16, 1940 in Jersey City, New Jersey, the son of Alex and Mary
(nee Struke) Zuk. He served in the United States Marines. Ken was united in marriage to Mary Ann Grace Stise and together they shared 37 wonderful years of marriage. Mary Ann preceded him in death on January 2, 2016. He retired from AT&T in New Jersey where he began as a draftsman, engineer and was later promoted to management. Ken was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown and was a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. Ken held a membership with The International Plastic Modeler's Society - USA. He was a Master model builder having been awarded numerous local and national awards for his entries. Ken enjoyed photography, journaling and stamp collecting.
Ken is survived by three children, Debbie ( Ernie) Braun; Jodi (Dr. Lou ) Magnotti and Jay (Jill) Zuk-LaBarre; four grandchildren, Austin, Jenna, Vito and Arianna; brother, Ronald Zuk; niece, Pamela (Mark) Hanan of Watertown, WI; nephew, John (Madeleine) Hanan of Delafield, WI as well as other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, James Zuk.
