The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 27th at 11:30 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lebanon, with the Rev. David Phillips officiating. Burial will take place in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Lebanon.
Relatives and friends may call to pay their respects at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials may be directed to the church or to the charity of one’s choice.

Waldemar Fredrick Baumann was born in the family home in Lebanon on July 25, 1921, son of Fred and Louise (Minning) Baumann. He attended Lebanon Lutheran School and was a graduate of Watertown High School. On September 25, 1949, he married the former Gladys Tietz at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lebanon.
Wally farmed in the town of Lebanon and later owned his own trucking business. After retirement, he did yard work for Immanuel Lutheran Church, school and cemetery.
Wally was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lebanon. He was also a member of the Lebanon Athletic Association, the Lebanon Lions Club, the Lebanon Historical Society and the Rock River Old Timers Baseball Association. Wally was very active in local baseball and managed the Lebanon Baseball Team. He was also a 71year member of the Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys, of Watertown; his children, Shirley (Rich) Baumann of Madison; Sandra (Allan) Wendland of Stevens Point; his grandchildren, Kristin Wendland and Melissa (Nicholas) Fehring; a sister, Meta Turke, as well as other relatives and friends.
Wally was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Harold Baumann.
