A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Noon, at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Johnson Creek with Father David Wanish officiating. Burial will be on Thursday at 1 pm at the Silver Cliff Cemetery in the Town of Silver Cliff. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of the service. Memorials, if desired, may be directed to Rainbow Hospice. The Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown, is serving the family. Mary Ann George was born on June 18, 1932 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Loren and Regina (Lorge) George. She attended St. Agnes Grade School and was a 1950 graduate of Rufus King High School, both in Milwaukee. On May 30, 1953 she married Thomas E. Faubel in Milwaukee. Mary was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Johnson Creek and the Sliver Cliff American Legion Auxiliary Post #66. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She loved to read and do various word puzzles.
Mary is survived by her husband Tom “Toby” of Watertown, five sons; Ted (Mardell) Faubel of Meridian, ID, Tom Faubel Jr. of Waukesha, Tim (Janice) Faubel of Shawano, Terry Faubel of Crivitz and Todd (Debbie) Faubel of Watertown, seven grandchildren; Nichole, Christopher, Adam, Andrew, Jesse, Shawn and Vanessa Faubel, three great-grandchildren; Jordan, Ashton and Braden, a sister; Barbara (Richard) Nalbert of Wauwatosa, a sister-in-law; Mary Jane George of Waukesha, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, a brother; Clifford George and a sister Patricia Barnes.
