Lucille was born June 25th, 1934 in Mount Horeb Wisconsin, daughter of Alvin & Nina (Schmitz) Luhman and was raised on the family farm. At age 14 the family moved to Watertown. She was united in marriage to Robert Huebner on October 24th, 1959 at Immanuel Lutheran Church Watertown. Bob preceded her in death January 19th 1994.
Lucy loved being a homemaker. She loved her home and her colorful gardens and could be found regularly making it as perfect as she could. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Lucy loved her song birds, particularly her cardinals and hummingbirds, which she fed and watched daily. She always loved a good auction and the hunt for that one exceptional find. Most of all she loved her family.
She will be forever in our hearts and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth Huebner Milwaukee, two daughters Linda (Dan) Kester Oconomowoc, and Lisa (Jim) Arndt Watertown, three grandchildren, Vanessa (Josh) Grendahl, Cassandra (Nick) Becker, and Janelle Arndt. Three great grandchildren, Logan Grendahl, Jack and Grant Becker, a brother-in-law Reinhart Willie, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was further preceded in death by her parents and a sister Evelyn Wille
The family is grateful and thankful for the entire staff at Rainbow Hospice for their loving care and the compassion for our mother.
