Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 9th at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Watertown, with the Rev. Dean Natterstad officiating. Burial will be at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia.
Relatives and friends may call to pay their respects at the church on Friday, May 9th from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials to the Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church Sound System would be greatly appreciated.

Betty Jane Krueger was born in Watertown on June 7, 1923, daughter of Benjamin and Elsie (Beneditz) Krueger. On January 4, 1945, she married Adelbert “Bart” Matthias at the First Baptist Church in Watertown. He preceded her in death on December 12, 2013.
Betty graduated from Watertown High School in 1941 and completed beauty school in 1942. She had a clerical position at the Register of Deeds office in Sheboygan. Betty and her husband also owned & operated businesses throughout their lives. They included Sno White Dairy Store, Matthias Variety Store and A & W Drive-Ins in Sheboygan and Waupun. Betty and Bart also owned and operated the B&B Restaurant in Watertown from 1985 until 1988.
Betty was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was a member of the bell choir, the Praise Band, and taught Sunday school until she turned 80 years old. She also volunteered with the Meals on Wheels program. Betty was an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan, Milwaukee Bucks fan and Green Bay Packers fan.
She loved spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her five children, Daniel (Linda) Matthias of San Luis Obispo, CA; Sally (James) Campion of West Bend; Peter (Jennifer) Matthias of Sheboygan; Betsy (Don) Veldboom of Waynesboro, GA and Linda (George) Woldseth of Watertown; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; a sister, Phyllis Miller of Glendale; a sister-in-law, Millie Krueger of New Berlin, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Lee “Bud” Krueger and a sister, Joyce Sutton.
