Evelyn M. Engelhart, age 93, of Watertown, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Golden Living Center in Watertown.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown with Father Scott Jablonski officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Family and friends may call to pay their respects at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Evelyn Mathilda Weber was born on December 31, 1922 in Farmington, the daughter of William and Mary (nee Frodel) Weber. On June 17, 1944, she married Joseph Engelhart at St. Henry Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on June 1, 2004. Evelyn was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown. Her whole life was dedicated to her family. Evelyn loved to sew, crochet and bake.
Evelyn is survived by three sons, DuWayne (Choonin) Engelhart of Maryland; Donald (Jane) Engelhart of Madison; Darrell Engelhart of Watertown; three daughters, Diane Marie Engelhart of Milwaukee; Darlene (Russell) Bushie of Watertown; Deloris (Todd) Griep also of Watertown as well as three grandchildren, Greta, Benjamin and William. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary; husband, Joseph; four brothers, Herbert, Leroy, Robert and Clarence as well as two sisters, Dorothy Milter and Estella Riedl.
The family would to give a special thank you to Golden Living Center and Rainbow Hospice for the wonderful care they provided to Evelyn.
