Almon Wadell was born in Arcadia, FL on June 20, 1927, son of Norman and Iva (Willis) Taylor. He attended school in Punta Gorda, FL. On July 16, 1947, Almon married the former Beverly J. Dau in Woods, WI.
He had been employed at A.C. Delco for over 35 years as a Journeyman, Machinist and Repairman.
Almon was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and loved to talk about his strong bible based faith with everyone he met.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly, of Watertown; his children, Timothy (Veronica) Taylor of Lannon; Mark Taylor of Phoenix, AZ; Paul (Noelle) Taylor of Omaha, NE; Kathleen (Jacob) Schlicher of Watertown; his grandchildren, Elodie and Travis Taylor and Alexis, Ethan and Isaac Schlicher; his sisters and brothers, Audrey O'Rourke of Punta Gorda, FL; Calvin (Carol) Taylor of Jefferson; James Morris Taylor of Punta Gorda, FL, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents, brother-in-law Jack O'Rourke, and granddaughter, Erin Taylor.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Watertown with Timothy Flint presiding. Relatives and friends may call to pay their respects at the Kingdom Hall located at 605 West Street, Watertown, from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
