Edith “Edie” M. Schwoch, 87, of Watertown, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Marquardt Health Center in Watertown.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. Anthony Schultz officiating. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watertown. Family and friends may gather at the church on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Light food will be served. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the charity of one’s choice. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Edith Marie Burrow was born on September 7, 1930 in the Town of Erin, the daughter of Lee “Pappy” and Lydia “Bobby” (nee Gehrls) Burrow. She was a 1948 graduate of Horicon High School. On October 4, 1952, she was united in marriage to Willis “Bill” Schwoch in Beaver Dam. Bill preceded her in death on October 19, 1999. Edie had been employed at John Deere in Horicon as well as Shopko in Watertown, from which she retired. She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Watertown, American Legion Post #189 and the Wethonkitha Club. She loved animals, wildlife and spending time with her family.
Edie is survived by her children, Cathy (Harry) Eiss of Bloomington, MN, Cindy (Scott) Krause of Watertown, Jeff (Deb Edwards) Schwoch of Watertown and Jay (Shelly) Schwoch of Kewaskum; grandchildren, Amanda (Timothy Jr.) Sabin, Brad (Heidi) Krause, Aaron (Ruth) Krause, Justin (Emily) Krause, Kyle Krause, Amber (Daniel) Guthmiller, Joshua Schwoch, Adam Schwoch, Brandon Schwoch and Samantha Schwoch; twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Charlotte) Burrow; special friend, Audrey Zautner; special buddy, Trixie as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was further preceded in death by her parents and sister, Delores Burrow in infancy.
