Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday evening, June 4th at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown, with the Rev. Terry Larson of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Watertown, officiating. Burial will be on Tuesday morning at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Clyman.
Relatives and friends may call to pay their respects at the funeral home on Monday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorials may be directed to the Diabetes Foundation.
Ronald Allen was born in Clyman on October 2, 1943, son of Paul and Mabel (Caul) Ninmann. He attended Zion Lutheran Grade School and attended the Hustisford High School. On December 5, 1964, Ron married the former Katherine Pieper at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford.
He had been employed at Silgan Containers in Oconomowoc for 35 years.
Ron enjoyed horses, snowmobiling and 4-wheeling.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy of Iron Ridge; two children, Tammy Wapneski and Timothy Ninmann, both of Beaver Dam; his four grandchildren, Jessica Schmitt, Jeremy Schmitt, Emily Ninmann and Katlyn Ninmann; five sisters, Lucille Moke of Watertown; Hazel (Wayne) Krepfer of La Crosse; Janette (Ernie) Kubly of Oconomowoc; Ethel Leitzke of Hustisford; Arlene Schuett of Clyman; five brothers, Willard (Mary Jane) Ninmann of Watertown; Theodore Ninmann of Hustisford; Larry Ninmann and Arthur (Audrey) Ninmann, both of Watertown, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and his two special dogs, Shadow and Hunter.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a son, Thomas; three sisters, Myrtle Jaeckel, Betty Wolf, Evelyn Nehls and three brothers, Paul, Richard and Hilbert.
The family would like to thank Hospice Advantage for the wonderful care they provided during Ron’s illness.
