Lois L. Hensler, 82, of Watertown, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Marquardt Health Center in Watertown.
Funeral services will held on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. Anthony Schultz and Rev. Mark Gartner officiating. Entombment will be at Glenview Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may gather at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials, if desired, would be appreciated to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church or Watertown Moravian Church.
Lois Leona Hensler was born on July 26, 1932 in Pipersville, the daughter of George and Leona Kilts (nee Gaugert). On June 5, 1982, she married Gordon Hensler at the Watertown Moravian Church. She was employed at Brandt Manufacturing Company for 45 years as a Supervisor.
She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Watertown and the Watertown Boat Club. Lois loved water skiing, boating, and snowmobiling. She enjoyed cooking and loved feeding people. Her true joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Lois is survived by her husband Gordon of Watertown; children: Pamela Hensler of Wauwatosa; David (Cathy) Hensler of Watertown, as well as grandchildren Jason Garity, Katelyn Garity, Kelsey Hensler, and Mitchell Hensler. She is further survived by special niece and nephews; Dan, Harold, David, Helen and Brian as well as other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father George; mother, Leona; step-father, Louis Marg; brother, Harvey; step-sisters: Isabelle and Norma as well as other siblings as children.
