Mel and Carol had a very active social life, being longtime members of a local dance club and several card clubs. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved spending time with them.

Carol was preceded in death by Melvin and by her parents. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Ron Beck and Ken Beck, her brother-in-law Loren Holzhueter and her nephew Jason Beck.
