Richard L. Ebert, 56, of Watertown, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at UW Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. Karl Walther officiating. Friends and family may gather at the church on Saturday from 10:30 am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
Richard Lloyd Ebert was born on June 5, 1959 in Watertown, the son of Lloyd and Priscilla (nee Gebhard) Ebert. He was a 1978 graduate of Watertown High School. Over the years he had been employed at Provimi Veal and Ad-Tech. He also was a bartender at numerous bars and a manager at Just One More. Richard enjoyed bowling and playing darts. He was inducted in to the Hall of Fame for bowling in 2014. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and sports.
Richard is survived by sisters, Rhonda (Robert) VanLoo of Watertown; Rita (Tony) Marsh of Brandon, WI; nieces and nephews, Haven Lundeen of Trail, MN; Harlen Lundeen of Thief River Falls, MN; Hope (Curtis) of Richards Trail, MN; Hogan Lundeen of Trail, MN; Hunter Lundeen of Trail, MN; step-niece and step-nephews, Kurt (Tracy) VanLoo, of Fond du Lac; Katie (Chris) Baumgart; Eric VanLoo of Fond du Lac; step-great-nephews and step-great-nieces, Dakota, Saphyre, Keira, Karson, Sawyer, and Dawson VanLoo, and Isiah, Gabrielle and Avery Baumgart; as well as other relatives and friends. He is further survived by Siamese kitties Buddy Boy and Ling Ling. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Priscilla.
