Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ixonia with Rev. Kenneth Ewerdt officiating. Burial will be at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Ixonia. Relatives and friends may call at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown on Saturday from 5-8 p.m. and at the church on Sunday from Noon until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or to Rainbow Hospice. The Hafemeister Funeral Home of Watertown is serving the family. Jean Lois Zanto was born on June 5, 1930 in Highwood MT, the daughter of Adolf and Flora (Liederbach) Zanto. On June 29, 1952 she married Rev. Kenneth Weber at Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Falls, MT. Jean had been employed at Bethesda Lutheran Home in Watertown and the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ixonia and a former member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Watertown. Jean had been a member of numerous women’s church organizations throughout the years. She was also a member of Alpha Life Resource Center in Watertown. Jean enjoyed doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
Jean is survived by two daughters, Laura (Dave) Kasuba of Littleton, CO and Kathleen (Joseph) Mech of Fort Atkinson; four sons, Mark (Leah) Weber of Beaver Dam, Phillip (Leona) Weber of Watertown, Thomas Weber of Fenton, MI and David (Sue) Weber of East Tawas, MI; thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, her twin sister, June (Louis) Bierwagon of Big Sandy, MT, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Jean was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Rev. Kenneth J. Weber on November 25, 1986, her infant son, James; four brothers and five sisters.
