Edwin P. Buske, 85, of Ixonia, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 at Shorehaven Lutheran Homes in Oconomowoc.
Funeral services for Edwin will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 4 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Ixonia, with the Rev. Kenneth Ewerdt officiating. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the school on Thursday from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Handicap Accessibility Fund, Lighthouse Youth Center, or to the charity of one’s choice.

Edwin Palmer Buske was born at the family farm in rural Concord on September 18, 1928, son of Edwin and Emma (Dobbratz) Buske. On August 19, 1951, he married Joan I. Schellin (the mother of his children) at Dr. Martin Luther Church n Oconomowoc.
Edwin and Joan were dairy farmers all of their working years in Farmington and Ixonia.
He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Edwin enjoyed collecting Farm-All Tractors and driving them in local parades. For many years he owned and enjoyed his ’57 Chevy.
Survivors include his four children, James (Cheryl) Buske of Ixonia; Cynthia (Kevin) Raether of Watertown; Rodney Buske of Watertown and John (Queena) Buske of Ixonia; his nine grandchildren, Rev. James (Terry) Buske, Bradley Buske, Paul (Hannah) Buske, Katie Raether, Kelly Raether, Tiffany Cole, Travis (Alicia) Buske, Devin Buske, Seth Buske; nine great-grandchildren, Zoe Buske, Micah Buske, Anastasia Buske, Judah Buske, Natalie Buske, Tyler Buske, Kaydence Buske, Tristan Buske, and Shawn Ireland; a brother, Harvey Buske; a brother-in-law, Walter (Salt) Joseph, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Edwin was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joan on January 15, 2010; his brother and wife, Edgar and Ruth Buske; his sister, Marion Joseph and a sister-in-law, Jean Buske.
