James “Jim” E. Beerbohm, 77, of Watertown, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek, surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church with Rev. James Backus officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials, if desired, may be directed to Rainbow Hospice. James Ernest Beerbohm was born February 13, 1941, the son of Ernest and Hilda (nee Werth) Beerbohm. He graduated from Watertown High School as part of the class of 1959. Jim married Virginia “Ginny” Heinzelman on October 30, 1965 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Lake Mills. Jim worked at WI Electric for 35 years, retiring as a URD foreman. He was a lifetime member of the Watertown Conservation Club, enjoying hunting, fishing, and trapshooting. In his spare time, he volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul, and watched the Brewers, Packers, Badgers, and Detroit Red Wings. He also enjoyed birdwatching. Most of all, Jim loved spending time with his family and friends.
Jim is survived by Ginny, his wife of 52 years; children, Lisa (Scott) Pirkel, Jeffrey (Heidi) Beerbohm, and Scott Beerbohm, all of Watertown; grandchildren, Jameson Pirkel, Kelsey Pirkel, Hunter Beerbohm, and Olivia Beerbohm; sister, Judy (Roger) Griep of Reeseville; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter in infancy; Christine Beerbohm.
