Kyle Nicolas Kuehl
Kyle Nicolas Kuehl left this earth on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at the age of 21 in a tragic car accident.
Kyle was born on September 25, 1996 to Wendell and Gail (Kuerschner) Kuehl of Watertown. He attended Lebanon Lutheran School from Kindergarten through eighth grade and graduated from Watertown High School in 2015.
Kyle developed a love for farming at a very young age. As the youngest, he watched his dad and older brothers intently. He was just waiting for the day he could join them on the family farm. His dream became a reality when he graduated from high school, working day and night because of his love for the land, and simply because he enjoyed it. The highlight of his short life on earth was becoming part owner of Kuehl Grain Farms, LLC in 2016. When Kyle set a goal, he was determined to achieve it.
Kyle had a dynamic personality and started each and every day with happiness and positive excitement. He never met a stranger, as everyone he encountered became a friend as soon as he met them. His constant smile and laugh was contagious to others. Kyle will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents; siblings, Amy (Seth) Hayden, Dan (Katie) Kuehl, Abby (Josh) Reichert and Kevin (Colette) Kuehl; nieces and nephews, Cassandra, Ryan, Chloe, Emma and Alex Hayden, Jonathan, Christopher and Carson Kuehl, Carter, Callen, Cooper and Cameron Reichert; grandmother, Esther Kuehl; his girlfriend of nearly 4 years, Cailee Weissenrieder as well as many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harvey Kuehl and Lester W. and Julia Kuerschner as well as Uncle John Kuehl.
A visitation for Kyle will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 3:00 7:00 p.m. at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown. A visitation will also take place on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Lebanon with Rev. David Phillips officiating. Burial will take place Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Lebanon. Memorials may be directed to the family or one's choice.
