Gloria M. Sobrolske-McInturff, 85, of Watertown, passed away on Wednesday evening, July 8, 2015 at Watertown Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. Todd Iverson officiating. Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Watertown. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Rainbow Hospice would be appreciated. The Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown are serving the family. Gloria Mae Schlesner was born on July 10, 1929 in Watertown, the daughter of G. Alfred and Grace (nee Lincks) Schlesner. She was a graduate of Johnson Creek High School. On June 21, 1947 she married Donald Sobrolske at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Watertown. He preceded her in death on December 4, 1991. On November 2, 1998 she married Charles McInturff, he preceded her in death on April 28, 2004. Gloria worked for the Mid-State Shoe Factory as well as Lindberg’s Hevi-Duty and the Watertown Unified School System as a secretary. She was a lifelong member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Watertown. She also was a member of the Watertown VFW Post #3709 Auxiliary. Gloria was a volunteer at Rainbow Hospice in Johnson Creek. She enjoyed quilting, camping, and fishing.
Gloria is survived by her two children, Linda (Larry) Nehls and Kevin (Jean) Sobrolske; three grandchildren, Todd Nehls; Trent (Debbie) Nehls all of Watertown and Tiera (Anthony) Motto of Streamwood, IL as well as five great-grandchildren, Tiffany Frey, Tabitha Nehls, Jonas Motto, Kayla Motto and Connor Rosenmeier. Gloria is further survived by three great-great-grandchildren Addison Frey, Chase Frey and Giovanni Nehls as well as brother, Eugene (Doris) Schlesner of Watertown.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, G. Alfred and Grace as well as husbands, Donald Sobrolske and Charles McInturff.
