Ronald K. Kaufmann, age 65 of Watertown, passed away unexpectedly, at his home on Saturday July 13, 2013.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday July 18, 2013 at 1 p.m. at St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown with Father Lance Schneider officiating. Burial will be at St. Henry Catholic Cemetery in Watertown. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the mass. Ronald Keith Kaufmann was born on August 26, 1947 in Manitowoc, the son of Glenn and Emily (Krause) Kaufmann. He was a 1965 graduate of Lincoln High School in Manitowoc and attended two years at the University of Wisconsin. On August 25, 1973 he married Susan Wichlacz at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Two Rivers. Ron owned and operated Energy Doctors in Watertown for over twenty-five years. He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church and a long time member of the Catholic Knights of Columbus. Ron and his wife had been Cub Scout leaders. Ron enjoyed bowling, golfing and fishing.

Ron is survived by his wife Susan of Watertown, three children, Scott (Wendy) Kaufmann, Christopher (Jackie) Kaufmann and Joshua (Kari) Kaufmann all of Watertown, six grandchildren, Rachel (fiancé Chris McGuire) Kaufmann, Jonathan Kaufmann, Tristan Kaufmann, Taylor Kaufmann, Cooper Kaufmann and Kylee Kaufmann, a great grandchild, Ava McGuire, three brothers, Mike (Marilyn) Kaufmann, Al Kaufmann and Tim Kaufmann all of Manitowoc, two sisters Mary (Bill) Kaufmann-Walker of Two Rivers and Kim (Cindy Connelly) Kaufmann of Manitowoc, two brother-in-laws, Jim (Ruth) Wichlacz and Pat (Bonnie) Wichlacz of Two Rivers and a sister-in-law, Ann(Ed) Plansky of Two Rivers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law and mother-in-law George (Bernice) Wichlacz, two brothers and a sister.
