John Rudelick, 93, of Watertown, found eternal peace on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Marquardt Health Center in Watertown.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Marquardt Memorial Manor in Watertown with Father Patrick Wendler officiating. Friends and family may gather at Marquardt Memorial Manor from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Valhalla Cemetery in Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Marquardt Foundation or Experimental Aircraft Association are appreciated.
John Rudelick was born on April 1, 1922, the son of Nikola and Marije (nee Devcic) Rudelick in Croatia. On March 3, 1943 he married Leah Clark in Milwaukee. Leah preceded him in death in 1994. John was enlisted in the United States Air Force for three years during WWII. He graduated from Parks Air College in Illinois. John was employed as a flight instructor at Metro Field in Waukesha and Sky Ranch Airport in Oshkosh. He was also employed at Bruner Corp. and Milwaukee Faucets. His favorite past time was working on his airplane.
John is survived by a brother, Nicholas Rudelich of California. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nikola and Marije; wife, Leah; step-daughter, Deanna Davis as well as brother, Samuel Rudelich.
