Eldoris V. Kuehl, age 88, of Lebanon, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Watertown Regional Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lebanon with Rev. Douglas Bergelin officiating. Interment will take place at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery in Lebanon. Family and friends may gather at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials, if desired, may be directed to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church or the Lebanon Volunteer EMS Department. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Eldoris Verena Maas was born on December 22, 1927 in Lebanon, the daughter of Walter and Leona (nee Pieper) Maas. On April 21, 1951, she married Fred Kuehl at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lebanon. Fred preceded her in death on March 27, 1983. Eldoris was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lebanon. Her faith was a very important part of her life. She enjoyed baking, playing cards and taking trips to the casino. Eldoris was an avid Milwaukee Brewer Fan. She cherished her time spent with her grandchildren. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Eldoris is survived by three daughters, Jane Wandersee of Watertown; Jill (Brian) Anagnostopoulos of Ashippun; Anna Mae (Tim) Schultz of Watertown; six sons, Brian Kuehl of Neosho; Dennis Kuehl of Necedah and Dale (Lori) Kuehl; Tim Kuehl; Tom Kuehl; Jeff (Chris) Kuehl, all of Lebanon; seventeen grandchildren, Marcus (Sarah) Kuehl; Michelle (Adam) Pieper; Jenny (Chad) Samanske; Jackie (Mike) Lewis; Jeremy Kuehl; Angie Wandersee; Christopher Wandersee; Adam Kuehl; Monica (Jeremy) Hepp; Ryan (Jessica) Kuehl; Rachael Kuehl; Kiara Kuehl; Kordel Kuehl; Crystal (Justin) Stalker; Nicholas Fredrick; Jordon Schultz; Hayden Schultz as well as thirteen great-grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister, Yvonne (Arnold) Weisensel and sisters-in-law, Eileen Maas and Edna Kuehl, all of Watertown. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Mark Kuehl and John Kuehl; granddaughter, Justine Kuehl; brother, Wallace Maas as well as sister, Mildred Voigt.
