Carolyn R. Lindert, age 84, of Watertown, passed away Wednesday morning, July 31, 2013, at Golden Living Center in Watertown.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 4th at 6 p.m. at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Watertown, with the Rev. Todd Iverson officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery on Monday at 10 a.m.
Relatives and friends may call to pay their respects at the church on Sunday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorials, in Carolynís name, may be given to the church or to the charity of oneís choice.

Carolyn Ramona Schmeling was born in Watertown on September 19, 1928, daughter of Herbert and Dorothea (Prenzlow) Schmeling. She was a graduate of Watertown High School and on November 11, 1950, she married Kenneth G. Lindert at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Watertown. Kenneth preceded her in death on November 24, 2002.
Carolyn had been employed with the former Bell Telephone Company in Watertown. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed nature, bird watching, and listening to polka music.
Carolyn was a member of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Watertown.
Survivors include her children, Joy (Mark) Rohr of Watertown; Connie (Larry) Parpart of Tomah; Gregory Lindert of Johnson Creek; her eight grandchildren, Tia (Jason) McGuire, Aaron (Jade) Parpart, Kristin (Tim) Finn, Racheal Lindert, Richael (Seth) Pelot; Kenny Lindert, Jennifer (Timothy) Schultz and Christopher Rohr.
nine great grandchildren; Grant, Layla, Andrew, Gage, Nadia, Logan, Anthony, Enya and Nathan; a sister, Lois (Duane) Zabel of Manitowoc, as well as nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Carolyn was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Georgiann Ihlenfeld.
The family would like to extend a thank you to Carolynís physicians and staff at the Golden Living Center, especially Donna, for their fine care and compassion, and her bingo buddy, Dee.
