Reynold H. Martin, age 90, of Watertown, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown with Father Savio Yerasani officiating. Entombment will take place at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia. Friends and family may call at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Henry Catholic Church or the charity of one’s choice are appreciated. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Reynold Henry Martin was born on July 29, 1927, in Watertown, the son of Reinhold and Margaret (nee Haberkorn) Martin. He was a graduate of Watertown High School. Reynold served in the United States Navy during World War II. On May 19, 1951, he was united in marriage to Ruth Ellen Fuchs at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Watertown. Ruth preceded him in death on August 3, 2015. They were blessed with 64 years of marriage and seven children. Reynold had been employed for over 40 years at Kehr Brother’s Heating and Cooling in Watertown. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsmen. He loved to golf in later years. Reynold was a very hard worker and devout catholic.
Reynold is survived by his 7 children, Bruce (Carol) Martin of Watertown, David (Donna) Martin of Beaver Dam, Steve (Cheri) Martin of Watertown, Michael Martin of Berlin, WI, Vicki (Craig) Butcher of Janesville, Robert (Mary) Martin of Deerfield, Daniel (Pamela) Martin of Watertown as well as 21 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was further preceded in death by his parents, Reinhold and Margaret; sister, Catherine Morgan as well as brother, James Martin.
