Norma A. Fredrick, age 94, of Watertown passed away on Monday, August 17, 2015 at Marquardt Health Center.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Clyman with the Rev. Michael Schempf officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Clyman. Memorials in honor of Norma may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or Marquardt Memorial Manor. The Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown are serving the family. Norma Augusta Caroline Heinzelmann was born in Watertown on August 10, 1921 to Gustav and Bertha (nee Arndt) Heinzelmann. She graduated from Juneau High School. On June 7, 1958 she married August L. Fredrick at Zion Lutheran Parsonage. August preceded her in death on April 26, 1974. Norma worked on the family farm raising beef cattle. She retired from Aunt Nellie’s in Clyman. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed tending to her apple orchards and vegetable gardens as well as woodworking. She was known for her large rummage sales and produce stand on the corner of Hwy 26 and County J.
Norma is survived by a sister, Lavon (Rev. Edward) Stelter of Two Rivers; nieces and nephews, Barbara Koch of Downers Grove, IL; Mark Stelter of Manitowoc; Pam (Rev. Keith) Tullburg of Milwaukee; Andrea Stelter of Weston; Peter Stelter of Two Rivers; Daniel Stelter of Middleton; Paula (Andy) Lober of Menomonee Falls; Beverly (Tom) Schrap of Milwaukee; Doyle (Sandie) Rettschlag of Clyman; Carleen Rettschlag of Watertown; Dean Rettschlag of Juneau as well as step-daughter-in-law, Helen Fredrick of Oak Grove. She is further survived by many grandnephews, grandnieces, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gustav and Bertha; husband, August; sister, Lillian (Wilbur) Rettschlag of Clyman as well as a nephew, Dale Rettschlag.
