James R. Harshbarger Sr. 67, of Watertown, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Watertown.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 23rd at 2 p.m. at the Hafemeister Funeral Home with the Rev.
Dean Natterstad of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Watertown, officiating. Burial, with Graveside Military Rites, will be at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia.
Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association or to the American Cancer Society.

James Raymond Harshbarger was born in Oconomowoc on July 14, 1947, son of Raymond and Marie (Burdick) Harshbarger.
He was a 1965 graduate of Oconomowoc High School and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. On June 2, 1973 Jim married Donna Heintz at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc.
He had been employed at Fiberesin in Oconomowoc and at Shopko in Watertown.
Jim enjoyed model trains and going to car shows.
Survivors include his wife, Donna of Watertown; a son, Jim Jr. of Watertown; a step-daughter, Sandi Mavis of Watertown; a granddaughter, Lori (Joe) Jilek of Watertown; two sisters, Carol (Phil) Baird of Oconomowoc;
Julie (Bob) Severson of Florida; cousins, nieces and other relatives and friends.
Preceded him in death were his parents and a brother, Robert Harshbarger.
