Lee E. Wade, age 76, of Watertown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 2, 2012 in Woodruff, where he spent his summers.
Visitation will be held at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown on Friday, September 7th from 6 to 8 p.m., with the Memorial Service beginning at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Paul Kuckhahn of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be at the Lutheran Cemetery in Watertown. Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church or to the charity of one’s choice.
Lee was born in Watertown on August 11, 1936, son of Percy and Lydia (Wille) Wade. He served in the U.S. Army and had been employed at the former Carnation Company in Oconomowoc.
Wade was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Watertown. He was an avid Muskie and Walleye fisherman and enjoyed golfing and bowling.
Survivors include his brothers and sister, James (Violet) Wade of Watertown; Nancy (Merlyn) Voss of Lodi; Percy Wade of Watertown and David Wade of Lowell; a sister-in-law, Mary Lou Wade of Waukesha, as well as other relatives and friends.
Wade was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gene Wade.
