Leona B. Schuett, 94, of Watertown, passed away Monday, September 2, 2013, at Golden Living Center in Watertown.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7th at 4 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lebanon, with the Rev. David Phillips officiating. Burial will take place at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Lebanon.
Relatives and friends may call to pay their respects at the church on Saturday from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the church, the Personal Essential Pantry of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Watertown or a worthy cause of one’s choice.

Leona B. Maass was born in the Township of Lebanon on January 24, 1919, daughter of Hugo and Lillian (Mallow) Maass. On June 10, 1939, Leona married Herold H. Schuett at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lebanon. Herold preceded her in death on January 10, 2002.
Leona and her husband owned and operated the Rock Cheese Factory in the Town of Emmet for 25 years. She also had been employed at Shorehaven Health Center of Oconomowoc and at Velduizen Vending in Watertown.
Leona was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lebanon, its Joy Group, the church choir and of the Homemakers. She was also a member of A.A.R.P.
Survivors include her three sons, Vernon (Marge) Schuett, Larry (Yvonne) Schuett and Rick (Kathy) Schuett, all of Watertown; her grandchildren, Julie (Charles) Higgins, Jeffrey (Kim) Schuett, Karen (Dave) Theder, Lisa (Tony) Pauli, Ryan (Krista) Schuett and Thea (Jeremy Paxton); great-grandchildren, Mitch Theder, Aly Theder, Joshua Higgins, Lena Pauli, Katelyn Schuett, Eliana Schuett and soon to arrive baby boy Paxton; her twin brother, LeRoy (Lavern Jaeger) Maass of Watertown; her sister, Ellen Anderson of Oshkosh; a brother-in-law, Daniel Malchow, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Leona was also preceded in death by her parents and her two sisters, Elaine Malchow and Violet Jaeger.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Rainbow Hospice and to the staff of Golden Living Center for 6 ½ years of loving and compassionate care.
