She was confirmed at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lebanon. On July 26, 1959, Audrey married James G. Frick at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Jim and Audrey were married for 34 years before he unexpectedly preceded her in death in 1993.
In the early years of their marriage along with much traveling, Jim and Audrey owned Central Bake Shop in Watertown where Audrey was an avid cake decorator. She was a long time faithful member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Watertown and spent many years serving on Altar Guild and singing in the choir. She spent countless hours volunteering at Alpha Life Resource Center in Watertown as a hot-liner and receptionist, helping young women in crisis. She was a strong Pro-life supporter. Audrey may best be known for the loving care she provided to many children in the Watertown community. She owned and operated Audrey’s ABC Family Day Care for over 40 years.
In 1999 Audrey was married to James Nigh in Adams. The two of them resided there for a few years before deciding to head for the peace and beauty of the Northwoods. They found their home in Irma. While retired Up North, Audrey became an active member of Christ United Lutheran Church in Merrill. They took a few memorable trips with friends and family throughout their marriage, including Canada and Branson, Missouri.
Audrey was a collector of owls, angels and butterflies. She loved spending time fishing in the back yard “down by the river” on Fourth Street and watching birds and other wildlife. She continued these hobbies while living in the Northwoods.

Nigh of Irma; children, Jeffrey (Tina) Frick of Tomahawk and Jenifer (John) Perr of Ripon; grandchildren, Coty (Jessica) Frick of Watertown, Tianna Frick of Tomahawk, Ashley (Casey) Zoellick of Watertown, Justin (Victoria) Lohr of Palmyra, Mitchael Perr and Cayden Perr, both of Ripon; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Taylor, Landyn and Nora as well as sister, Sandra Lee (Gary) Schwandt of Mayville.
