Hafemeister Funeral Home And Cremation Service
Linda L. De Bolt
Service: September 12, 2015
Linda L. De Bolt
I was born to Margaret (Krueger) and Elroy "Butch" Heller on May 21, 1947, at Watertown Memorial Hospital. I attended St. Mark's Lutheran School, graduating in 1962, then attended Watertown High School, graduating in 1965 (the Mighty Class of '65). We were all friends, some closer than others, but we knew how to have fun!
I married my best friend, Roger De Bolt, on Dec. 30, 1967. He has been my rock and the love of my life for 48 years. Thank you for being by my side when I needed you the most. Our son Christopher was born Sept. 14, 1968. He was such a good boy and turned out to be a wonderful man. Our daughter Jennifer was born June 30, 1971. She is a go-getter and fun to be around. She has her Father's kind heart. My three grandsons that are adored, Jacob (Frannie) Neuman, who is walking in grandpa footsteps, working with his hands with a loving heart; Cody Tubbs, such a loving sweet man, with a wonderful smile; and Sam (Faith) De Bolt, our Marine, who is so handsome and so very lovable. Two great-grandsons, Chase Neuman, who is 3 years old, and our 10-day-old bundle of joy, Elijah De Bolt. Remember at Grandma and Grandpa's house, "whatever you want, you get."
I have three siblings, Steven Heller, Sharon (Lester) Kuerschner and Lisa Heller. We were naughty, but fun kids who stayed close for many years. I have a hodge-podge of cousins who live across the country. When we get together we always have a good time. We always have a good time always hugging and laughing.
My mother and sister have lived with us for over the last 10 years and it has been wonderful. You have helped me over the years and I can't thank you enough. I am so lucky to live together with all three of my best friends. I can't forget our dog, Rosie, who we love dearly.
Be happy for me, I am free.
