Ruth M. Weber, 78, of Ixonia, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital following complications from surgery.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 17th at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ixonia with the
Rev. Kenneth Ewerdt officiating. Burial will be at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia.
Relatives and friends may call to pay their respects at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown on Thursday, Oct. 16th from 4 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials are suggested to the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Expansion Fund or to the charity of one’s choice.

Ruth Mary Buelter was born in Watertown on December 23, 1935, daughter of Otto and Irma (Zimdars) Buelter.
She was a 1954 graduate of Watertown High School and had been a long time employee at the Ixonia Bank, working as a teller. On June 11, 1955, Ruth married Rueben Mallow at the Wesley Methodist Church in Watertown. Rueben preceded her in death on December 8, 1989.
On September 7, 1991, Ruth married Wayne Weber at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ixonia.
Ruth was a member of AARP, serving as an officer, and was a member of the Concord Seniors. She loved Ixonia Victory 4H and watching sports such as football & golf. She and Wayne spent time in Arizona and Florida during the winters, but especially cherished their time at their cottage on Stratton Lake. She enjoyed dining out and visits with family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Weber of Ixonia; her children, Denise (Dennis) Saxby of Watertown; Dale (fiancé, Cindy Phillips) of Melbourne, FL; Daniel (Rachel) Mallow of Waupun; Daryl (Cheryl) Mallow of Watertown; Donna (Harold Jr. “Bucky”) Hann of Ixonia; a step-daughter, Faye (Danny) Nora of Johnson Creek; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Lorraine Ackatz, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ruth was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Doris Fawcett and Sharon Maas.
